"Gallery1988 (Melrose) is proud to open "[adult swim] x G1988" this Friday, January 13th, kicking off the location's 8th year with a bang. 100 artists will create paintings, prints, sculptures and one-of-a-kind plush, all inspired by shows, characters and iconic imagery from various [adult swim] shows. Whether it's Venture Bros., Robot Chicken, Harvey Birdman, Tim & Eric Awesome Show, Good Job!, Metalocalypse, or Aqua Teen Hunger Force, this roster of incredible artists have really honored these beloved properties with some of the best work we've ever shown. The opening reception, with many of the artists creating for the exhibit in attendance, will run from 7-10 PM, this Friday. The show will run through Feb. 4, 2012. We expect many of the pieces to sell, and most of the prints to sell out from this show - so don't miss out!"

One per buyer.- WEEN (New Years Eve at The Fillmore, Denver, CO) - We are finally making available the artist's edition of the Ween NYE print, for their recent show at The Fillmore Auditorium in Denver, Colorado. The show copies of this print sold out at the event in around 5 minutes. The print measures approx. 30 x 22 inches and is trimmed-to-bleed on gallery stock. From a signed and numbered edition of only 75 prints.
- WEEN (New Years Eve at The Fillmore, Denver, CO) FOIL- Printed on sparkle foil. From a signed and numbered edition of only 30 pieces.
Regarding the imagery for the Ween prints, Jermaine says: 'In the land of the gods, all is love. They mingle and they fraternize and they bask in the divine glow of each others company. Each of them, in turn, has lorded over the masses of mortal men, collected the spoils of humanity, and have stoked the fires of love and war. Each of them know that there is no 'reality', only perception. They collectively feed from the cultural umbilical cord, which in turn binds them to one another. They are one being, donning different masks.
So yeah...their 'sheep' need to relax.' - America (Art Print) - Printed on gallery stock and utilizing rich metallic inks, this new art print by Jermaine Rogers is entitled '2012 USA'. The print measures approx. 24x15 in. (trimmed-to-bleed) and is a signed and numbered edition of only 100 pieces. Regarding the imagery, Jermaine declined a detailed explanation, and instead sent this quote: 'Most powerful is he who has himself in his own power.' -Seneca Remember, both editions become available this Wednesday at 3pm Eastern at JermaineRogers.com/buy.html while supplies last.
We will also post a few more surprises which will be available for purchase as well, including some earlier Ween prints from the files. " Source: JermaineRogers.com
