Lola Dupré's "Shrapnel" exhibit @ Phone Booth Gallery

Phone Booth Gallery is pleased to present “Shrapnel,” a collection of all new work from Glasgow based artist Lola Dupré. Consisting entirely of her “Exploded” series of portraits, Dupré delivers her strongest work to date, exploding portraits such as Tura Satana, and Nikola Tesla, as well as exploded versions of work by artists like Man Ray and Jan Van Eyck.
 
The exhibition opens on October 8th, 2011 with a reception from 7-10 pm. This all-ages event will take place at Phone Booth Gallery’s exhibition space, 2533 East Broadway, Long Beach, CA 90803. “Shrapnel” will remain on view through November 5th, 2011 at the exhibition space and on www.phoneboothgallery.com.
